I am an educator and instructional designer in my heart and soul. I started my professional journey working as an IRS (Indian Revenue Service) officer with the designation of Additional Commissioner of Taxes, in the Indian Finance Ministry. The operations of this Ministry were overseen by the Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Finance Minister of India.  I moved to USA after I married this tall, not so dark, awesomely handsome, accomplished 'young' man, who also switched from a career in being the Marketing Manager for Procter and Gamble (P&G) and then Gillette, to a Professor of Business. Now that’s a 180 degree career flip!

 

My vision as an educator is to show my students, with example and discourse, that success is only a matter of taking small, but firm, unwavering steps towards our future goals. All my life I have strived for expertise and excellence, which is why I know that expertise needs to be constantly improved upon, and excellence must strive to have a higher pinnacle. I am poised to take the next step towards greater excellence. This is my dream, waiting to be a reality.
